Thank You

This page is dedicated to those of you who have graciously helped me along the way. From simply filling my water bottles with precious h20 at your kitchen sink, to those of you who have generously opened your homes, providing me with a warm shower to soothe aching muscles at the end of a hard day in the saddle, and a warm dry place to lay my head for the evening.

To each and every one of you I say thank you, I only hope that I can return the favour someday.

 15th February to 8th March 2012 - The D Girl (Canada)

Dannielle, thanks for nursing me back to health on the west coast especially on the "Ride For Hives" and for putting up with my not too dissimilar to manflu, sandfly complaints.

All the best in Nippon, hopefully we'll meet up again soon, somewhere along another spectacular, sandfly free cycle trail.

5th to 25th February 2012 - Rich & Karlene (USA)

The the best two Americans a guy could wish to cycle with. Thanks for the fun and laughter along the trail and the many beers after a hard day in the saddle. It was great to meet you both and learn from your experience on the bike stretching some 30 years. Well Done!

Hoping to catch up with you both again in the near future.

2nd to 4th February 2012 - The Team at Cycle World, Dunedin

Cheers to Sarge and Paul of Cycle World Dunedin for going above and beyond helping me out with a front wheel bearing problem. Cycle Worlds motto is "The Friendly Bike Shop" and the sure lived up to their name. Thanks again boys for accommodating me.

1st February 2012 - Enterprise Upholstery

A big thank you to the guys at Enterprise Upholstery in Dunedin for installing a new press stud on my handlebar bag after I managed to loose one in Oamaru. The guys attended to m repair in the middle of their lunch break and wouldn't accept any money for the repair.

Thanks Guys!

28th & 29th January 2012 - Chris and Peter

Chris, thank you for opening up you home to me for two nights and for the delicious meals. I'm sure that if you told Peter that they were not veto meals he'd guzzle them down.

Peter, thanks for the ride around town on Sunday morning showing me the sights and relaying the history of Oamaru.

27th January 2012 - Olivier (France)

Olivier, thanks for sharing your ride and many laughs with me over the past five days. Keep safe and enjoy the remaining days you have on the road. Perhaps we'll run into each other in Dunedin before you head home. If not, I'll see you in France.

18th January 2012 - Anne

Anne, thanks for the ride around Christchurch showing me sights around the hills district. It was great to be able to catch up again.

14th January 2012 - The Breakfast Team

Thanks for an enjoyable farewell ride and delicious breakfast team. It was great to catch up with you all before jetting across the ditch.

P.S. The Captain Australia glasses are a hit with all the guys from Europe.
